Local "Louis DeMichels" Annual Memorial One Loft Young Bird Series

The rules and guidelines for this race are;

  1. The One Loft YB Race to be called the “Annual Louis DeMichiels Memorial YB Race”.
  2. Host Loft manager to be TC Meuninck for 2010.
  3. Each member is limited to a maximum of four YB birds in 2010 (due to loft space limitations).
  4. Young Birds to be accepted between April 1 and June 1 , 2010
  5. Replacement birds to be accepted during the same period as above.
  6. The fee per bird to be $50.
  7. 15% of the fee to be used to offset the cost of feed for the host loft manager.
  8. 50% of the fee to be applied to the individual member’s 2010 Club YB race series fee.
  9. The remainder of the fee to be distributed as prize money for the 250 mile race only to be distributed as follows – 1st = 50%, 2nd = 25%, 3rd = 15%, 4th = 10%.
  10. The electronic bands for the one loft race birds to be paid for and provided by the club.
  11. The series will consist of 3 races - 150 mile race in September, a 200 mile and 250 mile race in October with two weeks between each race.
  12. One Loft race birds to be shipped with the regular race but released separately.
  13. The cancellation of the regular race will result in cancellation of the local One Loft Race – a 3 person (tie breaking) committee will be formed by the president of the Club in the event prize money can not be awarded.
